Pouch Cove, Newfoundland:

Home to Murray House Vacation Home

The lovely ocean-front community of Pouch Cove, Newfoundland, was first settled as a fishing village in 1611.  With a decline in the cod numbers in the '90's, significant restrictions were placed on cod catch quotas resulting in what many call the "death of the fishery". Today, Pouch Cove retains much of its cultural distinction and appeals to many as an "away from it all" escape embellished in nature, yet only 25 minutes from the city.
